Mitch joined FBB Capital Partners in 2002 as its chief investment officer. Before joining the firm, he was a Managing Director at Riggs & Co., the trust and investment management division of Riggs Bank in Washington, D.C. Prior to Riggs, Mitch worked in the private wealth management area at Goldman, Sachs & Co., managing investment portfolios for family groups. He also coordinated the firm's regional volunteerism efforts, working with organizations such as Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity. Mitch received an MBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan, and has an undergraduate degree in finance, cum laude, from the California State University. He has also received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Between his graduate and undergraduate studies, Mitch worked for five years as an investment analyst at Teledyne in Los Angeles, California, where he managed the company's money-market investments, traded bonds for its retirement plans, and analyzed equity securities. Mitch is presently a Director and Treasurer of the Legal Resource Center on Violence Against Women, a non-profit organization in the Washington DC area. |
