Michael Brenner is a research analyst at FBB Capital Partners. Michael works with FBB’s research team on all aspects of the investment process including macroeconomic research, reviewing existing stock and bond holdings, and generating new investment ideas.
Prior to FBB, Michael worked for a private family office in Michigan. Michael worked on manager research, asset allocation, and stock selection, with a focus on technology, media, and telecommunications stocks. Before working in financial services, Michael worked on the strategic finance team at Qualcomm.
Michael received his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University where he majored in Economics and minored in Math and Philosophy. Michael also served on the board of the Georgetown University Student Investment Fund. Michael is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, a CFA® charterholder, and a member of the CFA Society of Washington, D.C.
Michael is a DC-area native having grown up in Chevy Chase, MD. Michael’s hobbies include numismatics and hiking. He currently resides in Bethesda, MD.
