As Executive Vice President of FBB Capital Partners, Stein is responsible for strategic planning for the firm, as well as managing client relationships and client investment portfolios. Stein works closely with FBB’s president to ensure the strategic vision for the firm is met.

Stein serves as a member of FBB’s investment committee. He was responsible for establishing FBB’s eastern shore office in Easton, Maryland, over fifteen years ago and continues to oversee the operations of that office and its growing practice. Stein’s areas of expertise lie in portfolio design and implementation, retirement, tax, and estate planning.

With over 20 years of investment and financial planning experience, Stein is passionate about coordinating planning efforts with client’s accountants, estate planners, and other key professionals in order to provide holistic and sophisticated financial strategies. Stein’s insights and analysis have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, The Washington Post, Forbes, Market Watch, The Street.com, and CBS News.

Prior to joining FBB, Stein was an Investment Consultant for Charles Schwab and Co. assisting clients in formulating and executing their investment strategies.

Stein is a graduate of Salisbury University’s Perdue School of Business where he earned a Bachelor of Science in finance. Stein is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and has earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown University. Stein is also a NAPFA associate with the National Association of Professional Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

Stein spends his free time with his family enjoying outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, and snow skiing. He and his wife Beth have two children.
